Many retailers offer Layaway programs for families during the holidays, including Walmart, Kmart, Toys R Us, T.J. Maxx, and Marshalls.

Families that are unable to afford all of their holiday gifts at once, will purchase them on layaway. Once paid, the family is able to take home their purchased items.
